Accurate information, not purchased influence
Operator participation exists to give families more accurate, current and traceable Program information. Operator submissions are never published automatically and cannot control SUMMERCAMP editorial classifications or organic recommendations.
Invite-only pilot
Operator intake is a small invite-only pilot in v0.1. Public Program information, Discovery and Advisor remain account-free for families.
Editorial independence
Submission does not guarantee publication, ranking, recommendation or a favorable conclusion. Commercial relationships never alter organic Discovery or Advisor results.
How operators participate

Find or propose a Program
Names, aliases, operator, official domain and place are checked first to avoid duplicate records.

Request representation
Signing in does not grant edit access. An operator supplies proportionate organization-identity and authorization evidence for human review.
- 03
Prepare a submission draft
The operator proposes corrections, new Program details and public sources in structured fields. Drafts persist but never enter the public site.

Lock and submit
Every submission creates an immutable revision. Editors accept, reject or request clarification field by field; later edits create a new revision.
- 05
Canonical publication
Only accepted fields merge into the canonical Program record. The operator may later confirm no changes or submit another correction.
Attribution, evidence and responsibility
- Operator statements
- Operator-supplied information retains clear attribution unless a particular field is independently source-confirmed. Learning intentions are not presented as proven long-term outcomes.
- Public and private evidence
- Official webpages are preferred for ordinary facts. Documents marked editorial-only never enter public profiles, Search, Advisor, sitemaps or machine exports.
- Editorial classifications
- Operators may provide facts such as activity duration, distance, terrain, overnight structure and preparation. SUMMERCAMP independently determines ontology mappings and challenge classifications.
- Personal information
- Only operator-account information needed for authentication, contact and authorization is collected; login email is never published automatically. Operators must not submit child or family personal data.
- Corrections, removal and disputes
- Operators may request corrections, withdrawal or account removal. Factual records are not deleted automatically; disputes receive manual editorial review and may be corrected, retained or marked uncertain based on current evidence.
- No transaction layer
- v0.1 does not provide booking, payment, commission, capacity inventory or safety certification. Official registration and current availability remain subject to operator confirmation.
