What it is
SUMMERCAMP.TOP begins with first-hand programs and field practice, then connects outward to places, ideas, stories, research and artifacts. Its role is a neutral knowledge layer, not a replacement for independent project websites.
What it is not
It is not a booking engine, travel agency, review marketplace, corporate site or bulk SEO directory. V1 does not sell places or manufacture completeness from missing data.
Editorial commitment
Sources stay visible, evidence types stay explicit, unknown fields stay empty, and child and family privacy is protected by default. Drafts never enter public search, sitemaps or knowledge exports.

Three methods answer different questions: where information comes from, what families can currently understand, and what SUMMERCAMP actually reviewed or observed during a defined period.

Trust method
Explains provenance, field verification and editorial boundaries.
Every public record should show what is known, where it came from and what remains unknown.
Source tiers A / B / C
A
Site-owner-provided material, first-party project or creator records, and archives. It can establish identity, stated intent, project naming and what an organization says, but not independently prove performance, outcomes, legal status or market position.
B
Public external records: government, academic, professional, institutional, media and bibliographic material. Each source is used only within the scope it supports; authority does not make an unrelated inference valid.
C
Founder Field Knowledge: dated, contextual first-hand practice observations or working frameworks whose scope and limits must be explicit. It is not a participant-outcome study, diagnosis or general causal conclusion.
Evidence and editorial status
Evidence status separates first-party material, publicly verified records, editorial synthesis and working notes. Editorial status separates founder-authored, founder-reviewed, editorial and research-draft text. They answer different questions: how public the support is, and who shaped the record at what stage.
Project status
Concept, in development, pilot, active, seasonal, paused and historical are factual states, not quality ratings. “In development” is never written as operating, and receives no unverified route, date, price, partner or outcome.
Unknown facts stay unknown
We do not invent dates, numbers, quotations, people, partnerships, sponsors, government relationships, prices, routes or research conclusions. Gaps stay empty, verification-pending or outside the public record.
